About Cynthia

Hello there, My name is Cynthia. I am currently studying to become a secondary teacher specialising in Japanese and English as an Additional Language. As a teacher, I enjoy building student-teacher relationships and helping students experience success in learning.

Fun Fact : I am a massive foodie. I like going out to find new restaurants and cooking food at home. I also love Japanese anime and video games.

Education

I taught at A* Star Kids, a math tuition centre, teaching students in kinder to year 10 over the summer holiday of 2017-2018. As a part of my university course, I have completed numerous teaching placement schools at government and independent schools, in Melbourne and rural areas. At the moment, I am also tutoring casually.

Currently Studing - Bachelor of Secondary Education (honours) and Bachelor of Arts

Achievements and Scores

I competed an Extension Program at The University of Melbourne in year 12. I studied university-level Japanese and was able to achieve a grades equivalent to a 45 study score.
